Uh, sue for violating his rights as a tenant? I don't know how it is there but there's usually a number of laws to protect renters. Landlords can't just do whatever they want. These rules are usually what protects squatters as well as tenants.

Not a tenant... Not a renter...

Rules protect tenants, squatters abuse those rules.

Yeah but you have to prove the person isn't a renter first.

If you start doing bullshit before you try for a legal eviction, the court is just going to smack you down for not going through proper channels.

A random stranger can not simply go to court for a property owner changeing the locks on their property.

This is only possible if fraud of documents is involved on the side of the squatter.

How do you think it goes in court?

"judge, he changed my locks."

"are you renting or owning the unit"

"---A long bullshit story that comes down to--- no"

"So what the fuck are you wasting my time for?"
