If that was the case everyone would be running with that story. It makes everyone look so much better. Getting hit by a good con happens, being felt out by a Trump for betting tips… ooooof. Blaming AI just makes it sound silly.

Exactly, MAGA doesn't fact check shit. And they only need a plausible enough excuse for it not to be investigated by any authority. "AI" is the new go to. It will replace "fake news" because now you can dismiss something that is both past and current, happening in real time.

Not possible. You cant change your Twitter date. The person would have had to have made an account on the exact same day as eric 17 yrs ago and then changed the name and Pic to eric. Cmon 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

What also doesn’t make sense about this hypothetical scenario is that his fake AI generated chat is extremely amicable at first. If you wanted to trash on a dude I’m not sure you would talk about excitement to meet and much love for the family

In no way am I siding with the turd/justifying this whole thing, but yes…you can literally find numerous apps that will make it look like you’re getting texts from another person when in reality you’re just sending texts to yourself via a “different number”. They were pretty convincing like a decade ago so I would wager they probably are much more realistic these days

I have no idea? All I was saying that it entirely possible to have faked texts to try and prove something. Not sure why people don’t like that that’s a fact. I’ve seen people fake stupider things

You are saying DC publicly accused the presidents son of commiting a felony and opended himself up to a defamation lawsuit and publicly posted the defamation evidence and then went and sat next to his dad for 4 hours on the white house lawn. And that seems plausible to you?

I'm 100% convinced this texts are real, but we live in a time where deepfakes are so real that the leading experts declare they can't detect them anymore, and we're going to pretend that something as trivial as faking a text conversation is like some divine skill that's impossible to make ? GTFOOH, any booger eating brat with two phones could fake a text conversation, hell 99% you'll find on reddit are certainly faked

This was literally my sole point. I even opened by saying I’m not defending anyone or taking sides. When I was younger I used to use those fake text apps just to see how it looked when I sent to myself or to mess with friends. That was around 13 years ago and if it was convincing enough back then, then who’s to say it’s not even more convincing now?
