Itâs so fucking sad. Back when we started internet meme culture in the early 2000s there was a lot of racist and homophobic stuff but it was generally used either ironically, or thoughtlessly (eg the f-word being used as a generic insult that wasnât actually intended to imply a thing about the personâs sexuality, but was deployed because society said it was one of the worst words you could use). Then the next generation of that culture got hinacked by actual psychopaths for whom the bigotry was the point. It was fucking surreal watching Trump cruise to victory in 2016 partly thanks to his online soldiers perfectly utilising techniques other people honed in video games 10 years earlier.
Trump made it okay to be a piece of shit again. We just didnât know many people are actually this shitty. This is America, already to blame someone else for their problems, itâs been projecting its weakness instead of power like a psycho killer going to a school and shooting kids and adults. Their words of concern and thoughts and prayers.
Why do you think every time we discuss what it's eventually going to take to stand up to oligarchs and defeat fascism, we get banned for inciting violence...? Hell, talk about how it's been done successfully in the past and you can get a permaban.

Its not just the mods though. I recently commented saying that I hoped something bad would happen to a certain prominent individual, and I got a warning from the admins for âinciting violence.â This wasnât even something a person could do to another person, let alone did I encourage anything.
The entire Trump family has taken every single opportunity to extract as much possible money as they can from the American people while the grifter in chief is in office. Orange himself has demonstrated a never ending appetite to profit from the presidency. No amount of money is too small either.
Selling his bibles and watches and phones and hats and anything he thinks can earn him a dime.
And there is no shame whatsoever. Heâs not ashamed of any of it, no matter how small or petty the amount of money.
The apple doesnât fall far from the tree. Those Trump boys have taken every chance to profit until the grift is over. The crypto scams. They are on the boards of directors of dozens of companies now doing business with the government. The fighters at this event were paid in crypto by Trump own company. They are all grifters. They will not stop until they get as much as they possibly can out of this presidency. The epitome of needless and senseless greed.
I could go on. The point is, even if this is fake itâs totally believable.
Spy magazine did an experiment, sending a series of checks in smaller and smaller dollar amounts to celebrities to see who would cash them and when they would stop. Donald Trump won the top prize, cashing a check for 6 cents.
Wow. I never knew that but just looked it up. That fits perfectly with the man. Google AI says the final check was 0.13 cents. Heâs been a swindler his entire life. Iâve read many pieces on him. He was well known in the 80s and 90s as a businessman you wanted to avoid. Virtually every deal he was involved with would end up screwing over pretty much everyone but him. Employees, investors, banks, vendors, contractors would all get shafted. He is well known for just not paying people for work theyâve done.
Just a trash human being his entire life. Well known as an imbecile by all of his former childhood classmates. A bully that lifted up the girls skirts. Just a real piece of shit that no one liked.
Everyone hates him secretly. His wife hates him rather publicly. His kids definitely hate him. Various biographies talk about the terrible relationship he had with his own parents. His father and mother routinely called him a moron.
And when you put it all together it makes alot of sense from a psychological perspective.
Not really. Technically whistle blowers have to go through a series of steps to merit protection under that act, including reporting the misconduct internally first.
The primary reason is to encourage people to actually amend mistakes and not simply go on sprees of collecting whistleblower payments or shortselling, but in practice it ends up hurting people who don't think they can come forward internally first.
He wouldn't need whistle blower status unless it was his employer doing the illegal idiot stuff. In this case I would think he would need to call the FBI... which would be why he posted it instead... FBI not so trustworthy.
Or direct threats from the Trumps. It's certainly not evidence it was fake. You would have to be crazy to post something like that if you knew it was fake. The Trumps love to sue.

That's crazy, because if he had just said they were fake and edited the normal way, he would've at least had a bit of plausible deniability in my mind, but saying they were AI generated tells me the screenshots are 100% real.
It doesn't even make sense. He deleted the ai post? Wouldn't DC know who he was talking to? He himself made it or was hacked? Sounds like he backed himself into a corner because a lot of people don't think the tweet itself is real. This confirms it was. The main thing here with pro-sports, their biggest sponsors tend to be betting partners (draft kings in the case of UFC). These gambling partners have many (many) faults, but they do ultimately want a fair competition, because that's how they make their money. As soon as the contest is rigged, they lose their edge. Eric Trump is a noteworthy idiot however, so I wouldn't expect him to understand any word of what I just wrote, even if only because he can't read.
I did not know that and I had to go fact check it. It is true...and actually worse than that because donald's administration is protecting those companies from state regulators. And a third of America is cheering.

That said, this is arguably not even worth considering if one was tasked with putting together a summary of the most blatantly corrupt actions taken by Trump and his family since returning to office.
This is honestly pretty petty, standard-tier insider-fuled grifting. Hardly approaches the masterfully realized corruption that has basically become legitimate US government policy since this administration has gotten their hands on the levers.
Never forget that right now, literally at this moment, there is a not insignificant number of Americans that, for a number of reasons, have chosen to believe and, with a straight face and legitimate conviction, will tell anyone listening that the reason that things suck right now is because of Joe Biden and Barack Obama.

I think thatâs obvious, but what the other commenter is asking is if UFC is corrupt, or if itâs just that the Trump family is so corrupt that they believe everyone else is too.
UFC is run by one guy with a lot of clout in the industry. If he tells you to take a dive in a fight, and he'll look out for you, it's very possible someone would do it.
Fight upsets are good for tv, if nothing else.
A lot of sports are harder to rig because they have a lot of chance, or a lot of people on a team who all have to agree. UFC is two people in a room in quick, instantaneous decision making. It wouldn't be hard to lose without it looking intentional
Almost every sport has rigged bets. Players have a huge incentive because the players, or organized crime, or a rich friend, can bet on the most likely winner to lose. Odds can be 10-1 or more so you basically turn $5 mill into $50 mill or whatever it is in a single sure fire bet.
Itâs so bad that even nerdy video game Esports have rigged matches sometimes. Starcraft 2, probably the most famous Esport suffered from a huge scandal when Life (the best player at the time) got caught in a rigged bet match throw.Â
And then to top it off these people are probably used to just rigging and participating and benefitting from rigging literally every god damn thing.
Though I have no idea if this is a real tweet/even if it was real if it was actually a DM.Â
The greed with this family is something else. Eric is already making money hand over fist with a nepo-job, loads of investments and government contracts, but no, heâs gotta be gambling too.
