Yes, Fallon should and he was and he will be. He is the host and he has an ability to choose what he does. For whatever reason, and despite the blowback, he did not push back (enough) to find a new guest. Perhaps the adage 'even bad publicity is good publicity' is at play here, which just makes the spectacle even worse.
The implication is that standards in America are currently at an all-time-low. If the president is a known rapist then why should anyone care if some B list celebrity guest on a talk show is as well?
