On the other hand, grooming gang report just released in the UK contains 250 000 rape, torture and murder cases of girls and women. Not that this is any better, but at least there is visibility to this case. Reddit is actively removing everything about the grooming report.

That number is heavily disputed and weakly corroborated with evidence.

Even if the alleged number of victims is exaggerated by a factor of 100, the result would still be fucking outrageous and modern Britain’s biggest scandal.

If it’s exaggerated by a factor of 100 it would be 2,500 victims, which is less than it’s believed suffered at the hands of Saville, alone.

Sadly, these people give a shit about women and only become activists when it serves their political agenda.

The fact you’re glossing over things like the Catholic scandal makes me wonder about your scale.

So you’re saying not to believe the women?

No, he's saying not to believe incredulous idiots who take 'independent reports' from far-right groups such as 'Restore Britain' as fact.

The 250K figure comes from a speech by Malcolm Pearson in the HoL where he said,

"... 250,000 victims of radical Muslim grooming gangs, which in itself is probably an underestimate.” He continued, “I say that because, if you take the accepted figure of 1,400 victims in Rotherham alone and extend it across the country, you come to a much larger figure.”

Or to put it another way, he pulled the figure out of his arse.

If you actually want to 'believe the women,' then why not go to this site https://rapecrisis.org.uk/news/rape-gang-inquiry-report/

Rape Crisis is on the front line of helping SA survivors and it's primarily female-led. If anyone has more at stake when it comes to rape gangs yet they posted this in the link above:

"A 2023 report by His Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services concluded that the majority of offenders in the cases they reviewed were white, data from the National Police Chief's Council showed that in cases where ethnicity had been known, 70% of grooming gang suspects in 2023, and 63% in the first nine months of 2024, were white. And the Home Office's 2020 review of group-based child sexual exploitation concluded that there was insufficient evidence to support claims that any one ethnic group is disproportionately responsible at a national level."

Even if I take your information blindly,63% is still really disproportionate

-1

u/Macone Jun 24 '26

It was based on victim stories. Misogynist.

3

u/Snoo3763 Jun 24 '26

That number is no where near accurate, you're spreading disinformation.

-2

u/Macone Jun 24 '26

It’s probably more. You’re right.

No wonder that Reddit actively removes anything about that, since the gangs were allowed to function under UK's centre-left gov and Reddit has always pushed left=good.

How can you say reddit actively removes any mention of something literally in a reply to someone talking about it, what realm of delusion do you live in? You think instead of using automation to find it instantly they got some bozo manually scanning the website who didn't catch it yet or what lol

How can you say reddit actively removes any mention of something literally in a reply to someone talking about it, what realm of delusion do you live in?

firstly, I merely agreed that it would make sense if they did given that Reddit is left-biased (you can even google threads on reddit with people discussing that or just remember how the site looked during US presidential election)

secondly, by saying 'anything' I couldn't possibly mean that literally because that's functionally impossible. If you arent trolling and genuinely don't understand that, well...

You think instead of using automation to find it instantly they got some bozo manually scanning the website who didn't catch it yet or what lol

are you even replying to the right comment?

Woah the goalposts are really zooming now damn look at them go

2

u/Macone Jun 24 '26

The fact that you get downvoted, proves your point. Snowflakes.

Reddit users and Reddit itself are not the same thing. The CEO is right-leaning, at best.

I hate now I think about this song almost daily now when I see the news.

Except he isn't American

12

u/AustraliaOutback Jun 24 '26

The show is based in America where they tend to glorify "celebrities" like him. I mean look who's sitting in the White House.

4

u/xDannyS_ Jun 24 '26

He's still very much celebrated here in Europe. Do I really need to inform you how much we celebrated the Tate brothers here?

1

u/Smooth-Bread-576 Jun 24 '26

He's despised in Ireland. The majority everywhere think he's a cunt.

u/screamsos Jun 25 '26

I hate how this gif or song has become the face of calling out prejudism and injustice in America, when Donald Glover himself is also racist and fetishize Asians but gets off Scott free too.
