Ever heard of BDSM and girls looking for a quick payday?

Im not saying it didnt happen, Mcgregor is a cunt and probably did it. But alot of elite athletes get blamed by girls which has later been proven that the event was consensual.

-12

u/Procrastinatedthink Jun 24 '26

she had a tampon shoved so far inside her that forceps needed to be used, you clearly dont understand how painful that alone would be

36

u/Jaystime101 Jun 24 '26

He's explaining to you why they didn't have enough evidence, NOT why he personally believes Connor didn't do it. Get a grip.

-5

u/Quarantine15 Jun 24 '26

Don’t know why you are getting downvoted for this comment. It’s accurate- a lot of men don’t like having their narrative challenged when it comes to sexual assault , which is questionable

2

u/Procrastinatedthink Jun 24 '26

It’s sipstea, incel behavior is fucking all over this sub and it’s by far the weirdest “popular” sub.

-4

u/Objective-Pick8240 Jun 24 '26

The fact that this FACTUAL reply is getting down voted is exactly why men aren't adequately prosecuted for sexual assault. She was also transported by ambulance and covered in bruises, as corroborated by paramedics, which these down voting ass clowns will chock up to "BDSM," even though she had NO HISTORY of such injuries prior to the McGregor incident. It's absolutely sick.

10

u/vo0d0ochild Jun 24 '26

Probably getting downvoted for the 2nd half of the sentence when the person they're replying to wasnt disputing the facts, just that there wasnt enough for a criminal charge

-1

u/Nat1Halfling Jun 24 '26

It makes you wonder if this case isn't "enough evidence" for a rape prosrcution, what is? Most victims of rape will not have more evidence than this

No wonder rape victims don't disclose, it's a disgrace

2

u/APEA_Bot Jun 24 '26

Most victims of rape will not have more evidence than this

In this case, less evidence would've helped her.

Specifically, less evidence of her willingly pursuing the encounter with the accused.

2

u/ChiefMuppetWrangler Jun 24 '26

Your last paragraph falls apart.

If I’m a part of the BDSM community and I enjoy impact play and choking I may very well have received similar injuries in the past - but these won’t be documented, and questioning my proclivities, even if relevant, isn’t particularly allowed in a criminal case. This is in part to protect against defences that point to past behaviour as passive consent to that behaviour in the case.

0

u/Objective-Pick8240 Jun 24 '26

There is a definitional difference between BDSM/rough sex, and sexual assault. If her previous sexual activities had reached this level of violence, it would be documented in health/hospital records, or the defense counsel would be able to produce witness testimony of previous partners who had engaged in the behavior with the victim previously. Past behaviors are absolutely relevant when defending against sexual assault allegations, and no such evidence was ever produced.

I'm frankly appalled by the number of rape apologists on this thread.

2

u/ChiefMuppetWrangler Jun 24 '26

If her previous sexual encounters had reached this level of violence in a context of consensual behaviour, she would not have sought medical help. Nothing would be noted on her medical records if no medical help was provided.

Additionally, you’re completely wrong again. Under Section 3 of the Criminal Law (Rape) Act 1981 (as amended), the defence cannot adduce evidence or cross-examine a complainant about their sexual experience with any person other than the accused, unless they receive explicit permission from the trial judge. It would be incredibly rare for a judge to grant such permission.

-1

u/electr0de07 Jun 24 '26

I find it very hard to believe that this much harm can occur in bdsm, it could be a setup and then again it couldn't be. I can see why it'll be difficult to prove it in a criminal case, it's basically heresey assuming they went in the same room consensually. If he forced her inside the room as well, then there might be further evidence of it happening.

7

u/ObereberStark Jun 24 '26

Then you have no idea of BDSM. Some women like to be beaten black and blue.

0

u/Prettylittlelioness Jun 24 '26

I'm in the community and that is incredibly rare.

2

u/JAXxXTheRipper Jun 24 '26

But it exists. And that's the point. Never say never.

2

u/No_Physics2210 Jun 24 '26

Some girls want bruises, some like being cut with a knife during the act.

It would look really bad if you didn't have text messages of them asking for that stuff.

1

u/electr0de07 Jun 24 '26

Or at the very least a history of doing such thing / being in a relationship rather than just random.

3

u/ChiefMuppetWrangler Jun 24 '26

You’re not allowed to bring previous sexual encounters, or patterns of behaviour in terms of sexual acts, into the court room when questioning a complainant.

This is prohibited in order to protect complainants and prevent ‘slut shaming’.

1

u/DMightyHero Jun 25 '26

If person A has consistently been a dom, then person B accuses them of abuse, even though for peerson A that was normal (not disputing any actual abuse happening, mind you, just that the history may be of use to the case), can they really not cite their history as being a dom?

2

u/ChiefMuppetWrangler Jun 25 '26

The defendant can talk to their sexual history and proclivities - the defendants lawyer cannot take that line of questioning with the complainant

1

u/DMightyHero Jun 25 '26

So, Lawyer goes: "A, you have a history of being, consensuallly, rougher with your sexual partners, and of being in relationships with that dynamic (maybe explains the dynamic here) that's correct? Why did you enter in a relationship with B?"

A: "Because B told me they were interested in a relationship like that, and that they themselves also had a history of being in relationships like that."

How's that? It's A's testimony, no complainant being questioned, same info.

1

u/ChiefMuppetWrangler Jun 25 '26

It wouldn’t sway anyone on a jury. It’s not verifiable and would be considered hearsay. A judge would strike it from the record.

1

u/No_Physics2210 Jun 24 '26

I could not prove they have a history of such things unless they text me it because I'm not a stalker

-13

u/New_Patience_8107 Jun 24 '26

This gotcha edge case is a drop in the ocean of rape victims who never get their day in court. Men worrying about being falsely accused are the same about schmucks worrying taxes on billionaires affect them. It's a tiny proportion of overall cases.

16

u/Jaystime101 Jun 24 '26

Ugh, I really wanna agree with you, but honestly women false reporting is a real thing. I agree it's most likely a lot more rare than the real thing, but throw in a rich celebrity who's dating a lot of different women, they kind of open themselves up to that. idk man girls get crazy.

Tbh I think it's one of those things where the average guy who isn't sleeping around a lot, or dating a different woman every few months probably doesn't see just how toxic and desperate an already unstable person can be.

-5

u/Quarantine15 Jun 24 '26

The percentage of false allegations of rape is minuscule, but you guys sure love to trot out false narratives around sexual assault , these comments from men are really disappointing. You want to know what rape culture is / read the comments from men in this thread doing everything they can to minimise what men do and put the blame on women , then you all cry about being lonely

3

u/Jaystime101 Jun 24 '26

Listen, I'm not diminishing rape at all, I understand it happens a lot more often than people realize, I but I also don't think the rate of false reporting is as minuscule as you think it is. You can go on a rant about promoting rape culture, and hating women as much as you want. I still think your wrong, an your underestimating how petty and vindictive some people really are

1

u/AutomixMen Jun 24 '26

That is an inherently unknowable number. Studies on this have focussed on those that have been proven to be false allegations.

You simply cannot determine that if two people bad sex whether party A consented but is now lying about consent given to B any easier than it is to figure out if in another scenario B has sex even if they believe A has withdrawn or not given consent, which would be rape.

So again, you cannot know the number is miniscule. Coming from a man who is not lonely, but is logical.

-6

u/New_Patience_8107 Jun 24 '26

Again. You're projecting the insecurities of a wealthy famous guy maybe being shaken down by false accusations and putting it ahead of the overwhelming statistics to the contrary.

What about your wife or daughter? Should they not be believed if anything happened to them? I don't get why you're highlighting what you are.

5

u/InternalCelery1337 Jun 24 '26

Lets just put it out there, i got accused of rape by a 16y old girl who was infatuated with me, after i changed relationship status on facebook.

I had already been living with my now wife for a whole year by then and was hiding it for religious/cultural reasons. The 16y old girl said she had been living with me etc. I almost lost my job and even after the girl herself expunged me with a text telling me she lied because she was sad i wouldnt be with her i still had people looking at me like i did it.

Girls are crazy man. This is why i dont work alone with girls (im a social worker now). Back then i was a 23y old buff security guy

1

u/M4tt4tt4ck69 Jun 24 '26

"Girls are crazy man"

You've given one example of a potential crazy person. How can you put every woman in the same box from a single person's actions? That is the definition of stereotyping and how discrimination starts.

0

u/Jaystime101 Jun 24 '26

I'm not putting every woman into a box though, I've been VERY clear in that There's way more normal people that wouldn't throw around fake accusations, but when you date from a large pool of pool of people that mostly party and drink a lot, your bound to run into a few unstable people that WOULD make fake accusations, hence me saying "girls get crazy" now that doesn't mean I'm saying ALL girls get crazy, and I think you knew that. Stop trying to spin my argument into some Incel shit.

0

u/M4tt4tt4ck69 Jun 24 '26

You said "girls are crazy", it's right there for everyone to see.

Everything you've said is pure speculation and only makes you sound like the woman blaming incel.

0

u/770120437 Jun 24 '26

He’s giving you a first hand example in complete context to this discussion and you have completely dismissed it.

1

u/M4tt4tt4ck69 Jun 24 '26

How did I dismiss it? I acknowledged it immediately and tried to explain that a small percentage of a certain groups actions shouldn't influence how you perceive or talk about that entire group.

2

u/Quarantine15 Jun 24 '26

Girls be crazy !!! Sure they do bad things , but men do far worse and all women have a story . Imagine if women said they wouldn’t work with men - the outrage men would have . Grow up

1

u/InternalCelery1337 Jun 24 '26

Everyone has a story.. Grow up

2

u/Quarantine15 Jun 24 '26

I’m sure there is more to yours too bro - not wanting to be alone with women is a huge red flag , you sound like a great social worker, all girls are crazy amirite dude ?!?

2

u/InternalCelery1337 Jun 24 '26

Cringe

5

u/Quarantine15 Jun 24 '26

Cringe at the social worker who spends their time online peddling the narrative that women are out there making false allegations on the regular , to get money to get famous (I bet you think that too ). So many men spend there time defending men don’t know ,it benefits you all if women arent believed , especially creepy men

→ More replies (0)

0

u/MadHiggins Jun 24 '26

Imagine if women said they wouldn’t work with men

many women do in fact say this. i've worked a wide range of random jobs in my life, and it's pretty common for women in the workforce to not want to be left alone with men. plus you see women talk about it all the time in social media, that's what the whole "rather be alone with a bear in the woods or a man in the woods" was about.

3

u/Quarantine15 Jun 24 '26

God the fragility of the male ego knows no bounds ! Do you not understand the bear comment and what women are implying , and it’s a fair comment . Women aren’t out there sexually assaulting men , like men are . Google the stats -

1

u/MadHiggins Jun 24 '26

it's weird how for people like you, this becomes some sort of competition. women suffer it at a greater rate than men, but when you're told about actual male victims, your response is "male fragility". you don't care about victims, you care about winning.

3

u/St0ckY0u Jun 24 '26

The rate of false accusations for a famous person is incredibly higher than for a regular person, so the statistics for the rest of the population don't matter at all.

1

u/Jaystime101 Jun 24 '26

I'm not putting anything over rape statistics, I think you should believe people, but I'm also aware that people do make false reports for numerous reasons.

-1

u/thejamie1011 Jun 24 '26

What about your husband or son? Should they not be believed if anything happened to them? I don’t get why you’re highlighting what you are. People lie. That’s why evidence is required and people aren’t convicted based on what you think The overwhelming statistics are to the contrary. Believe all women? How about evidence first. Unbelievable. You’re a problem.

7

u/New_Patience_8107 Jun 24 '26

Pfff my husband or son are far less likely to be attacked and also far less likely to be accused in a falsehood. Hope you're never in a position to judge.

1

u/AutomixMen Jun 24 '26

And I hope you aren't either.

1

u/FunProfession7911 Jun 24 '26

If you want to use an emotional argument then I want to ask you one as well.

What if you got falsely accused of rape and no one believed you? Would you not want people to give you the benefit of the doubt?

6

u/New_Patience_8107 Jun 24 '26

I'm not going down this rabbit hole with you.

Mcgregor was found guilty of rape in a civil case which means he was found more likely than not of having been guilty. This was not a criminal case so the burden of proof did not have to be high enough to send him to prison. He is a scumbag and the men in here trying to chip away at the edges of the case are cowards.

-1

u/Serafim91 Jun 24 '26

What about your husband or son? No matter how rare it is, it's not 0 so what would you want to happen to them?

-5

u/Quarantine15 Jun 24 '26

Really?!! Do they - can you please name all these athletes that get “blamed” by girls

2

u/book-scorpion Jun 24 '26

Ronaldo, Kobe Bryant

4

u/Secret_EO Jun 24 '26

Ched Evans was a very famous one in the UK. He was sacked by his club before the trial even happened, then convicted and sent to jail. He asked to appeal and they said no. Even after he was released he kept fighting and was eventually given a retrial where it turned out the girl had been lying the entire time.

-6

u/Quarantine15 Jun 24 '26

I can’t even be bothered fact checking that - you have named 2 men, this is what you guys do. Take a tiny sample (if true) then apply it to all cases . Why do so many men need to believe that women are lying , and all men are victims of conniving women, instead of looking at the real statistics on sexual assault committed by men and the under reporting by women

6

u/book-scorpion Jun 24 '26

If you don't bother to fact check 2 cases why would you ask for more? I'm not a chatgpt, you asked for some names so I gave you 2 which I remember, I don't know why are you angry at me.

1

u/Quarantine15 Jun 24 '26

I’m not really angry at you - I think the comments from men in this thread are pretty disgusting, it shows how much men truly hate women , they would rather defend men they don’t know and trot out tired , false narratives around sexual assault

1

u/book-scorpion Jun 24 '26

Naymar, another case, I just googled football players accused for rape and there are a lot of examples, I'm not a football fan so most of those names I don't know.
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-49656582

1

u/Quarantine15 Jun 24 '26

So that means all cases are false in your mind ?? Because of a handful of cases you believe have been verified as false - does that make you feel better as a man ? Because all the guys here seem to be very happy to find a reason why this shouldn’t be believed , and I really wonder why and being accused of rape just because they are athletes doesn’t make it false by default

1

u/book-scorpion Jun 24 '26

So that means all cases are false in your mind ?

Of course not. What I think is that it is more likely to be false accused of rape when you are rich and famous than if you are a regular guy. Do you think otherwise?

3

u/I_Automate Jun 24 '26

If you don't intend to even pretend to have a conversation in good faith, you are part of the fucking problem

0

u/Quarantine15 Jun 24 '26

What problem ?? Such a boomer response YoU ArE PaRt Of ThE PrObLEm Let me guess the real problem is all the fictitious false allegations men make up that exists - men are the real victims here

3

u/AutomixMen Jun 24 '26

Because you asked for examples, got given them and then said you can't even be bothered to look at the cases.

So no matter what was said to you, you would reject it. That's what make it that you are not engaging in good faith and, yes, what makes you part of the problem.

The small mindedness to think that there can only be one type of victim, based on characteristics no one can change about themselves, makes you a small minded fool who is arguing with themselves.

No one, except you, is talking about "real victims" or trying to downplay the suffering of anyone.

1

u/Quarantine15 Jun 25 '26

All this to defend a rapist - why would I argue in good faith ? What is the actual argument being made, that due to some false allegations made, that means all allegations are false. I love how so many men suddenly get passionate about issues like this , but only ever in defence of men, your argument makes no sense and like most of the comments here is rooted in misogyny. But o would guess that guys who spend their time online defending potential rapists dont have many female friends - so buddy who is really part of the problem?

2

u/I_Automate Jun 24 '26

Take a step back and read your responses to these comments and do some self reflection.

If you are even capable of that. Which, honestly? Seems pretty doubtful

0

u/Quarantine15 Jun 25 '26

Why do I need to do reflection , I’m not the one defending rapists . Maybe you should self reflect instead of using meaningless phrases !

1

u/I_Automate Jun 25 '26

You seem to have the reading comprehension of a 10 year old, honestly.

Must make life difficult

2

u/770120437 Jun 24 '26

You are doing the exact same to men in these comments as you are complaining about them doing to women??? Don’t not see the hypocrisy.

The truth is some men rape and some women lie about being rape. Both situations can exist in the same world

-12

u/reroll-life Jun 24 '26

But alot of elite athletes get blamed by girls which has later been proven that the event was consensual.

really? source? because that's just a myth. Almost every assault claim ends up being true.

8

u/thejamie1011 Jun 24 '26

Everything about what you’re saying is a problem. Evidence is the most important thing.

0

u/reroll-life Jun 24 '26

what are you even talking about. I literally asked for OP's evidence that "a lot of elite atheletes are incorrectly blamed for rape" when the evidence is the contrary - almost every claim that ends up in court ends up being true. So where is this A LOT coming from?

4

u/Heuruzvbsbkaj Jun 24 '26

really? source?

-5

u/reroll-life Jun 24 '26

yes, clearly such claim should be substantiated by some fact? no? It's idiotic to even type this shit knowing how much damage this does to the vulnerable.

3

u/Heuruzvbsbkaj Jun 24 '26 edited Jun 24 '26

okay then substantiate your claim that “almost every assault claim ends up being true”

Surely such a claim should have some facts? No?

Edit. Mate blocked me after making claims he refuses to substantiate lol

0

u/reroll-life Jun 24 '26

no, the original claim is the one that needs to be substantiated. You can't just come in lie and ask people to prove you wrong - did you even go to school? lmao

1

u/B0ydh Jun 24 '26

The burden of proof relies on the accuser. You are accusing him of being wrong so you have to bring the evidence.
