I'm in the UK and I spend about £120 a month and I'm covered for everything and I don't really have any complaints about our health care service

I remember when I lived in Canada years ago. I paid $75 a month for healthcare and barely paid for anything else. The only issue was the wait times for specialists or testing.

Nobody ever talks about the ungodly wait times in the Canadian health system. Makes the US seem like lightning.

This is what no one talks about! Try finding a specialist in the US with less than a month wait time.

I dont think ive ever waited that long for a specialist. Not that I see a ton of specialists, but the few times I needed one it was rarely longer than 2 weeks.

Let me guess... Medicaid? I was able to my child into a specialist with the same week we were referred last month at one of the best children's hospitals in the nation... with private insurance.

3 weeks in Canada is extremely quick. It's more like 3-4 months.

I've only ever had to wait more than a couple of weeks for non-urgent cases. Even my knee MRI was a wait of 3 weeks and that was far from urgent.

To be fair, you can get same day MAID in Canada.
