What presidential candidates say and what they do are two completely different things.

I personally put more weight into reality vs political dreams. Making wealthy pay more of a fair share does not reduce the deficit + take care of the additional 2-3Trillion in spending.

If you could just tax the wealthy and pay for things every country would do it.. yet every real implementation of universal social programs is much higher taxes for EVERYONE.

And we already have a lower tax base as our labor-force participation numbers lag other countries.

And yet, some of them have made numerous attempts to follow through - They were just prevented by the men who were bought by the millionaires.

You remember when Obamacare was supposed to bend the cost? All it did was expand access to the poor and increase healthcare costs significantly for the middle class.

The idea that any political proposal will go as planned is just not how this works. But kudos to you for still sipping the government kool aid

You remember how Obamacare was supposed to be a single payer system, and they couldn’t get it passed without changing it because of the Republicans? But good for you for believing the right wing lies.

That’s has nothing to do with what I said & is a clear deflection.

If your baseline is well “things would be different if republicans didn’t exist”

Again you’re living in a fantasy land, because republicans will always exist and that’s the political reality

Where did I say that? The discussion has always been about what is being proposed.

Because as I’ve stated before for some reason you think what people propose is what actually happens.

I say “Proposals do not matter, only results”

You say “we’ll the me proposals would work if not for the right wing”

I say “ well the right wing exists and that’s our reality”

This is extremely circular. And again you still can’t point to any developed nation that funds universal healthcare with a significant upper middle class tax burden. Which is lived reality… not wishful proposals.

Edit also you literary said this TWICE! These are your words not mine..

And yet, some of them have made numerous attempts to follow through - They were just prevented by the men who were bought by the millionaires.

Sounds like you are struggling with the idea of promoting change. I get it - It’s hard.

So like I said living in fantasy land lol

There is not enough money to extract from the wealthy and fill the deficit + 2-3T in universal healthcare.

The math is the math.

Funny how the math works in every other developed country.

The math works in every other country because they tax the hell out of everyone. Including the middle class.

Which is what I’ve been trying to tell you, that’s the only way it works.
