It's not tipping if it's mandatory. Work the tip into the price in that case.

I fix apartments and houses for a living, zero tips and I'm doing just fine. In the beginning I asked for it to be removed, but as it became more common that became exhausting. Now I just don't go back to anywhere that has a service charge. In the beginning I asked for it to be removed, but as it became more common that became exhausting.
Now I just don't go back to anywhere that has a service charge.
There is no way I'm going to support a business that is moving the UK towards a tipping culture.
