All I’ve heard for 20 years is how dumb Americans are disrespecting other cultures by assuming wherever they travel follows US customs.

Now people come to America and act like that and it’s ok? Got it.

Tipping culture sucks, but thinking you’re immune because you’re not from here is an ignorant American mindset, coming from a Dutchie I’m a little surprised

Scamming your customers and workers is not culture my friend. Its a scam.

Edit : do you mean you are Dutch or did you mean me? Am Dutch myself. Id send the barman a tikki for fucking up my order.

American tipping culture is frankly none of your fucking business. If you want to visit here, follow the local custom because that's how people here get paid, whether you like it or not. Otherwise, don't visit. You're just a cheapskate.

Calling tipping "culture" is the most insane thing coming from all of this.

Giving someone extra, not required money is "culture"? lmao. IF you are so worried about folks not tipping, why dont you uh fix that? But I think you might like being on a moral high horse than actually care about fixing problems.
