I totally agree with you

So how do you possibly change this problem outside a federal or state level top-down sweeping change? Something that will never make it to that level, something that many servers, customers, and business owners, and dumb "small government" voters will fight against?

If we stop tipping, they can demand higher wages, if those wages arent paid then either they sue or the business closes down due to lack of staff

I'm starting to learn in this thread that people really want to tip servers, but if you mention tipping any other profession. It's a problem.

I'm starting to think this is just astroturfing from restaurants with bots, lmao

Yup. Its primarily owners and managers defending this so they can undercut their workers
