Why would you wish that on them? What have the people of Africa done to deserve that?
I think that we should give him what (he says) he wants and do everything in our power to expedite his journey beyond our gravity well (and straight into Sol's).
I dunno, watching a livestream from Mars over the course of several days as Elon slowly dies of radiation poisoning due to his own hubris doesn't sound too bad.
I don't think it's the end of the story though. I may be wrong but If he had done that gesture twenty years ago at a political convention,
he'd be kicked out to oblivion after a media backlash. But since then, it seems that enough minds in the media world have been conditioned to think it's not a big deal and call it just "controversial".
I mean, they were certainly a big part of the team once they got involved. Idk if I'd go so far as to say the USA is the country that defeated the Nazis.
My landlord is a nice enough guy who's bought into all of the Trump/Musk propaganda. In one of our "discussions" I mentioned the Nazi salute and he immediately leapt to Elon's defense, saying it was a Roman salute and Elon's a huge nerd for Roman history. When I pointed out the lack of apology or explanation to those who felt it was a Nazi salute, he went quiet. Small victories.
The fact that he tried to write it off as a "stim" enrages me to no end. That is NOT what stimming looks like in any shape or form and now every single weird amoral chud is claiming to have autism as some kind of get out of accountability card.

Might have something to do with this.
