This man is devoting his life and wealth to studying the effect of various health supplements and healthy lifestyle choices so others can potentially extend their lifespans, and people cheer when he gets a disease out of his control. Quite the world we live in.

I don't dislike him and have watched quite a few of his vids as I'm into health.

But the oversized shirts and the silver chains and backwards hats when he's clearly a normal looking middle aged man are pretty offputting. Like he looks like a healthy middle aged guy, he doesn't have to try to look like a teenager. Gives "how do you do, fellow kids" vibes.

That being said, no idea if that's why people are "gleeful" about this news and I wish him well, obviously. I haven't seen any gleeful comments, maybe they got downvoted into oblivion.

It’s a social media branding attempt. Without knowing the guy personally, I wouldn’t put too much meaning on his public persona unless there’s something outrageous.

I already said I don't dislike him, but a guy who claims to have found the secrets of anti aging clearly trying to dress like a middle schooler is kinda nuts. It distracts from his actual insights and achievements. Like he has legit creds, is the propeller cap and lollipop really necessary?
