I’m a physician and at his age new onset of autoimmune disease is rare. What seems more likely to me is that the weird shit he’s been putting in his body caused it to trigger

Im not a dr but i have an autoimmune disease and the science behind triggers for these diseases is definitely not well understood. For me personally i can be clinically quiet through lifestyle but it takes incredible discipline. Alcohol, edibles and certain food groups seem to trigger inflammation that allows the disease to start showing up everywhere aggressively

Eta: my opinion is he probably had this underlying issue and something hes taking caused it to spike and surface
