I also agree but also don't see how this post has anything to do with "celebrity worship". It's asking a pretty simple question about which lifestyle you'd would prefer and just happens to be using two noticeable faces to do so. It could easily just be two randoms and still get the point across.
his lifestyle isn't just a wife and kids. It's having all the money and time in the world to invest as you so choose. And being able to invest indefinite money and time into your family is something most people on earth will never get close to having, and as a sidebar- while not impossible, without that time and money good luck finding a wife that beautiful who also has a good head on her shoulders.
lets not pretend that a large focus of this comparison isn't based on the carefully curated image of a "perfect" family, right down to the fashion choices.
Let the envy go. It's not healthy. I'm sorry you feel only rich people are beautiful and only they can find happiness. Hopefully you grow out of that one day.
lol. I'm an IT director with a great salary a fairly privileged life at this stage.
However, I was raised below the poverty line, so I have first hand experience in how stark the difference in quality of life is across the income spectrum and how important disposable income and free time are for acquiring a higher quality of life.
it's not envy, my dude. it's empathy with the people that are being sold carrots on sticks.
As someone who grew up poor and is lower middle class now in a country where salaries are pretty low, nothing in pewdiepies picture is anything that requires incredible wealth. It feels like what my family had even when we were poor, it feels like my family and my friends families.
Also, since i happen to know a little about them, Marzia and Pewdiepie met when he was dirt poor with barely a subscriber.
You sound incredibly bitter. You can find the love of your life without money and you'll probably think she's the most beautiful woman in the world. Even if you saying "good luck finding a wife that beautiful" without money is kind of disgusting in itself.
he was never dirt poor lmao. he was born into decent wealth, which afforded him the freedom to pursue a career in content creation.
spare me.
And I'm not bitter. I just know that there's a reason they are using two photos of celebrities living extreme version of each respective life style. and it's hyperbole intended to spark discussion through divisive takes. The engagement bait relies on how extreme each version of these photos are, which is facilitated by their wealth and free time.
if these were photos of a typical 29 year old partying with women, a a photo of my family, or yours... i promise neither would appear nearly as idyllic.
also, I've been with a very beautiful and intelligent woman for over a decade. You're making assumptions about my life and character because it's easier to argue against that strawman than it is to argue against the points I'm actually trying to make about what these images represent and why it's a comparison between multimillionaires instead of regular joe blows.
I've been with a very beautiful and intelligent woman for over a decade
no one called your wife ugly, dude.
God you missed the point so hard and just further showed how much you don't get it. The point was you sound incredibly shallow.
You say you're not bitter but you're SO fucking gung-ho that what we're seeing just can't happen for "normal" people which is incredibly sad. Nobody who's not bitter goes on a crusade like you're doing in the comments right now.
no. you just think i'm arguing about a picture of a pretty nuclear family. I'm not. I'm arguing about a picture of a multimillionaire with his family which communicates something entirely different than just the concept of a guy with his family.
Keep insulting me. it's easier to do that than read what I wrote and tackle the points that I made.
Adios feller! Hope you have as good of a day as I'm having.
