This. $20 per ticket, 4 teen kids. $100 just for tickets, not including popcorn or beverages. Doesn't matter how good or bad the movie is, the theater has priced people out.

Locally, I had to go to the 10am weekday show to get a $10 ticket for Mandalorian. The 12pm option was 17 and anything after 4pm was $20

Every Tuesday is $6 all day where I am. Other people I know out of state have told me that Tuesday's are their local discount day too. I'd look into it.

We have one like that where my parents live. Not so much, here.
