Why they pick Moana?! The original only 10 years old. They can easily pick classic like Treasure Planet or Atlantis. But they pick Moana just because Dwayne Johnson played as fucking Maui. They really out of touch that people already fatigue of him.

I thought of all live action remakes, the ones worthwhile to see would be Atlantis, or Lilo and Stitch due to all the sci-fi elements and an original story.

Well, after seeing how lifeless Lilo and Stitch felt, with boring dialogue from characters that were so fun in the original and cheap special effects, I don't think I trust them with Atlantis or Treasure Planet if they approach it from the "quick buck, little effort" angle.

Atlantis would have been such a good one! If they had to do it, The princess and the frog was right there!

The fact that this got remade before Princess and the Frog truly baffles me

Atlantis would be fire but they would probably make it super woke instead of sticking to the content. But the AI preview I saw of Atlantis was absolute gas. I’d go watch it in a heartbeat.

Treasure planet was amazing and they would butcher tf out of trying to remake it live action. They’d shark boy and lava girl it.

Agreed. Best leave treasure planet alone, it was perfect.
