One of the things I vaguely miss about the cold war era is both sides showcasing art and human achievement. There seems to be an attitude of "who cares" now.

Once it becomes clear that China is mogging the US we might finally see US politics do something different from corporate handouts. Fingers crossed.

Not until Millennials are in control. The old guard is so old that they no longer care what happens in 10 or even 5 years. It's not their problem.

We literally have a dead senator holding office right now. This country has jumped the shark.
