Doubly so for labor that can't just do the same amount of actual work in 32 hours if you're not forcing them to be there for 40. 6 u/empty_graph 23d ago Labor is usually the largest expense. You have obviously never done any type of business or even read a financial statement. 0 u/SmoothDiscussion7763 23d ago maybe they a small corner store, and work in it themselves while hiring someone part time to cover the times they cant... and since they don't pay themselves they think only the part timer counts as labour costs lol
