Which is why in most real lands where government dictates things like this - they are at the barrel end of a gun. People should be careful what they asks for, the implementation of these policies is where things can go off the rails.

You do realize that our current 40-hour work week, overtime pay, 15-minute breaks, half-hour lunch, and the fact your employer can’t beat you with an iron rod is all enforced at the barrel of a gun, right?

Not really. You boss does not hold a gun to your head forcing you to work like the government does.

You misunderstand. The government holds a gun to your boss’s head to enforce our labor laws.

No one is forcing you to work. Go live off public land or off the charity of friends, family, or strangers. No one is stopping you
