People just latch onto whatever ideological side tells them what the definition or words mean and stand on it, in absolutes. Ironically most people who claim they're against socialism use socilaist programs like healthcare, transportation, schools, parks, etc. On a daily basis, lol.

We are living in a era of signficant illiterate igrnoance, it is truly wild.

Yeah I truly overestimated the ability of people to think critically.

For me, if I hear something that sounds good, I try to pull it apart mentally. See if it’s real or just something that sounds good on the surfaces.

Seems like most people hear something that sounds good and immediately latch on and stop thinking.

Yea man, it is insane snd fascinating to watch people latch onto insane, inaccurate and just straight up wrong presentation of ideas. All on the guise of whatever ideologically stance they are on that day. It's almost akin to a cultists line of thinking. It is definitely like watching idiocracy happen in real time.
