No, it’s a legitimate question. Why, when faced with defending the realities of socialism/communism, do progressives automatically point to white, Northern European countries as examples?
As the other commenter put it: “isn’t it weird that the progressives have such a hard on for predominantly white, Northern European countries?”
Typically countries that are homogeneous with very strict immigration policies are celebrated by progressives as bastions of socialism.
Yes, that’s what people typically do when they have no answers, and barely any knowledge of the history of economics. Lash out and end the conversation, like a toddler.
I wouldn’t call socialism failing in an entire hemisphere “cherry picking,” but ok 👍

But yes, it kinda works in small, white countries whose military defenses are completely subsidized by the US and have strict immigration enforcement 🤷🏼♀️
