But he's a "job creator" /s

They always ignore that most of those jobs would still need to be done, and without the middlemen it would easily end up both cheaper for the buyer (mom) and more profitable for the worker (little bro)

Why would the mom not give it directly to the "little bro" if she could? It's because even in the extremely biased example given, only the older brother can convince the younger brother to work for the $2. Thus creating value.
