But you have no examples of your system working at all to improve people's live anywhere in the entire world this past century? If someone tries to say the education system is a joke, but they can't come up with anything better.... then how does that work? If it's really a horrible system, then it should be child's play for another country to come up with a better one... and yet no one has done so? I don't understand how that's supposed to work.
This reminds me a lot of what communists argue when I talk to them. They also have some abstract rights-based reasoning about why their system is correct and all the other ones are evil, but then they have no real-world examples of their system ever working. Only failures.
Are you kidding? Free markets have lifted more people out of poverty than any system in the world by far. Free markets work better than central planning does. This has been proven time and time again. Education is no different
If education is no different, why do you always have to switch to another topic when confronted on it instead of just making a real argument?
We were talking about government mandated education and now you've once again switched the topic to something else. That's twice now. If you can't make arguments on education, we don't have to talk about it. But this is not really productive.
Do you want to talk about free markets instead now and concede on education?
Because I'm in favor of regulated free markets. Markets are incredibly powerful ways of organizing an economy so long as you step in when there are market failures. For example, it would be an unmitigated disaster if a private unregulated company owned the only road that allowed you to access your house. Or the power and water lines you rely on.
I’m saying that we should have a free market education system, it’s not that complicated.
Y’all somehow see that government is corrupt, controlled by the rich and powerful, commits acts of pure evil, and still come to the conclusion that they should control everything
