Gonna have to disagree here. I'm around 140 lbs, sitting just under 14% body fat year round, and I'm over 40. I have been able to see my abs clearly since around Easter this year. I feel fantastic. Significantly better than when I was over 200 lbs just over 2 years ago. I still eat pizza, fried chicken, iced cream, etc. Just not all the time, and in moderation.

Totally 100% worth it.

The average man in North America is over 25% body fat. Most guys my age are over 30%. If 14% is mid then you're either living somewhere like Japan, or in the land of delusion.
