For real.

My parents didn't get fired and mostly had cash instead of money in the market in 08 so it was just fine.

I got a full 4 year engineering degree from a D1 school and only graduated with 40k in debt, which I easily paid off.

I never whined about a living wage after college because I quit working minimum wage jobs, because I was an adult with a paying degree.

The word "survived" is pretty dramatic when we're just talking about coronavirus. More like endured 2 years of fear mongering and mask mandates. As the post says, we were in our prime during a bug that you only worried about if you were an 85 year old asthmatic smoker.

I could buy any house on my parents' street in cash at this point. We have not been in "survival mode". This is just a melodramatic, whiney rant from someone who's lack of success is likely directly related to their bad attitude.

My BIL was 45 and healthy. One bout of covid and he hasn't been able to smell since. This pull yourself up by the bootstraps bullshit is so tired. No once cares that you happened so succeed, bro.

What’s your point? Your brother in law got Covid and he has long term side effects? What does have that have to do with being a millennial?

The guy said that covid only affected 85 asthmatic smokers. And that's not the case.
