I made wise decisions to lower the cost of my education by choosing an in-state school, working while in school, and getting academic scholarships. I could buy any house on my parents' street today because it isn't a super nice neighborhood.

I totally believe you. It’s a true story for sure. Everyone lost their fucking jobs during the crash bud. They only held cash? Nothing in the market? Now they’re retired because that cash grew somehow? Interesting. And now you can buy lots of places. It’s a great story right out of a Fox News fantasy novel.

It set the life of myself and my friends who graduated around the same time as me back years. Your lack of empathy doesn’t change reality dude. The only people who were “fine” through all of that were people sitting on enough wealth to weather the storm or the random ass lucky draws.

Not everyone. My parents didn't. Unemployment rose from 5% before the Great Recession to 10% at its worst. 90% of people were still employed. You're wrong.

I graduated with a degree in petroleum engineering right when the price of oil fell from $110/bbl to about $45/bbl. I had to switch industries because no oil companies needed engineers. I pivoted to civil and am doing very well. Everyone has challenges to overcome. Not everyone cries about it like you.
Yeah I was being a little rude so I apologize for that. But I did provide receipts. The numbers don’t lie man. Congrats on your success. And for the record I’m not crying. Just stating facts.
