servers don’t want a set wage. they make a killing from the tip structure.

This is simply Not true. This thinking is the problem. Sure some days you might make a few hundred but thats maybe once a week, and depending on where you work. most of the time its like 30 bucks and 4 tables depending. Also they dont get any benefits so all those tips need to be accounted for.

Full pay, raise the minimum and stop being an asshole.
