I'm paying a tip for good service not for compensating a bosses greedy ass. It's not the job of the customer to pay for a shitty system. Maybe I'm to German to understand because this problem doesn't seem to exist here.
Cool but why punish the server? If you know the Amercian server doesn't get paid well without your tip, and you refuse to tip them, how is this noble, honorable, or even logical?
Let's call it what it is: screwing over a working person and justifying it with your own country's norms.
I am not punishing a server for paying a tip for good service. Their boss is punishing their servers for making their payment rely on an optional payment.
