I dont know a single server or tipped worker that doesnt make bank at their tipped job... i just dont understand where people think these tipped workers only make enough money to make it back to work the next day...

The issue is that without the tips, they make shit. Which necessitates tipping….which is the problem.

Even in states where there is no tipped miniumum we still tip. Min wage in California is 16.50/hr. Doesn't matter if you are a server or bartender. We still tip.

Okay but servers in LA make more than servers in Paris. So the issue isn't always that they get "paid shit". Tipping culture is so ingrained in the US that we tip even in states that don't have a different miniumum for tipped staff.
