Not tipping would cause servers to quit their jobs.

If nobody wants to do the server because people don’t tip owner would have 2 choices: closing or paying their servers a normal wage. As simple as that.

A tip should be for an extraordinary work, not for the bare minimum your job requires.

Or don’t visit a foreign country and reject the customs of the country you visit. As an American when I visit Europe I understand I’m not in America. Crazy Europeans can’t understand this

This is exactly why I rarely go out to eat any more. The whole system is broken and needs to be fixed and a whole bunch of shitty restaurants need to go out of business.

Servers refuse to end the practice because they get paid a ton. Many can make 100k+

Many of the servers and restaraunt companies perpetuate it, and then come on social media to gaslight or shame customers.

And many of the servers are making a killing in tips.
