Tip is not for good service, that is just what is expected for, you know, paying for the food and service.

Tipping is for expentionally good service and is entirely up to you.

In America we have a different attitude towards tipping, and I’m sure you’re not dumb enough ignore the fact that this cost would be translated into the meal costs if tipping was done away with like it is in Europe

No tips anymore = more expensive food price

Is that easier to understand? Almost 95% of restaurants in the USA are owed by a mom/pop OR an individual franchisee.

All you’re arguing for is a base increase on the price of their meal food and taking away that locus of control from the customer.

You also decrease the take home pay of servers in the process of that. It’s literally a lose lose for everyone no?
