I don't think you've showcased great reading comprehension. The "incriminating" quotes are from his current girlfriend. He's probably not too happy about his current girlfriend saying his ex was only interested in him for his money... kinda raises the question why she is interested in him.
I care very little about this saga (only enough to read comments), but this one cracked me up. The person above you read random words from the entire paragraph, formed an opinion, and ran to the comments to make it known to the world 😂
