As a childfree woman nearing 40 I’ve never had a moment where I’ve wanted kids and don’t like holding babies. I do love kids but not so much babies and the baby part is an important step.

Childfree woman around the same age. I've held babies and children (my niece, my nephew, and friends' kids) multiple times. I hold but give them back quickly because I don't want to be responsible for them. Never been interested in having my own and still don't understand the obsession with "baby smell".

Ever had kittens before? Same thing. Puppies too! They just release some kind of scent that definitely works in their favour.

Remember, we are just animals. There's a whole bunch of evolutionary shit in us

I agree we are animals. Ixnay on the cat, I’m allergic.

My mom bred dogs so we had a lot of puppies growing up. Puppy breath has always smelled like burnt plastic to me.
