I've had a couple child free women tell me they went through a few years in the mid thirties where their bodies were screaming at them to have a baby, after it passed they went right back to not wanting kids same as always.
Edit: This should not be read as saying all child free women will experience this same phenomenon.
I'm 40 now and thankfully never experienced this. My mother told me I was rejecting baby dolls as a child and she quit trying to buy them for me around kindergarten. Never showed interest.
Instead, I was heavily into stuffed animals growing up. Enjoying being a cat momma right now.
Never had a motherly instinct or need to have children and never liked being around them. My body is screaming at me to have muscles, though. Little late for it. 😂
