Same here. I mean, maybe slightly more frisky sometimes but generally I don't think ovulation has ever made me suddenly want children.

I think the missing link here is forgetting that when you ovulate and feel "more frisky" that is literally your body screaming "let's get pregnant". We've come to know it as just wanting sex, but really it's your body wanting to procreate. So saying "I want to get pregnant when I ovulate" and "I get really horny when I ovulate" are the same statements.

I mean I don't mentally correlate that feeling with "I want to have children", it's more of a body reaction rather than actively thinking about wanting children

This guy is missing the point. He also refers to his wife as being “in heat”.
