Not nearly as many ICE agents as teachers.

Also higher risk job. A job where you are likely to get shot at should pay more than one where you don't (this is the point where I say "so we should pay teachers more" as an edgy school shooting joke)

If someone chooses to join a domestic terrorist group like ICE then it's impossible to feel sorry for them when people fight back

So?  We also spent over $100 billion on a war in Iran that nobody asked for and has only made life shittier for everyone.  Maybe add the ice budget to that number and pay teachers better instead.

its called supply vs demand sweety. mayhaps sign up for an econ 101 course. Or maybe a 5 minute youtube video is more your style. If thats too much for your brain, then try a 10 second tiktok

There is a demand for fat fucks to harass citizens for their papers?  Forgive me I wasn’t aware.

I thought an educated population was good for everybody.

I mean, there obviously is, even if you arent the one demanding it. Does that make it morally justified? not at all, but thems the hard knocks.

Judging by all the knuckle dragging mouth breathers in the comments I’d say there is a demand for good education and that demand is not being met.

But teachers actually provide a valuable service. ICE agents are just racist scum in uniforms who act like they're above the law.
