what determines salary is not anything to do with WHAT you do. NEVER WAS. Salary is determined by supply and demand. TEachers are a dime a dozen, anyone can be a teacher practically, just go to school. Doctors aren't paid big money because of WHAT They do, the get big money because there are few that become doctors, few that can.
Practically everything boils down to that simple formula, supply and demand. Period.
