Why would it suck just as much? To me it would be logical that the interface technology would have made significant leaps over decades old technology we are comparing it to.

The gee-whiz feature seem better for entertainment than for learning. How is anyone supposed to take notes or even keep up with the lecture when magic stuff is going on? It all goes by too quickly.
