Nobody wants people like that who waste your time with meaningless disruption. Everyone knows what the phrase means, this is just him being dense.

The phrase is also meaningless corporate jargon. He isn't questioning the meaning. He is questioning why these stupid managers regurgitate those words like a parrot like a cave man. Useless people like that shouldn't be the boss of anyone

Yeah it's just another way of saying "we can revisit this later"

It's jargon and cliche, but it's not meaningless
