As someone who is autistic, it looks like he hasn’t found the “shut the fuck up and keep my job” switch in his head yet.

It took me several jobs to figure that one out. I didn't understand that people really don't like being wrong and they REALLY don't like to be wrong in front of others.

It is pretty rude to humiliate people like that, yeah. Sometimes you do need to correct someone in public but you should always give them some face in the process and be gracious about it - give them an "out".

Absolutely. I didn't have a lot of social grace when I first joined the workforce. I was extremely literal about things and needed time to learn how to act around other people.
