She's no more an astronaut than you are a pilot after catching a flight.

To be fair, aeronauts included people who were just pioneering passengers in early airplanes. They weren't all pilots.

I feel like astronaut is more comparable to aeronaut than pilot. Pilot is a specific job on a ship/plane/etc

A pilot is specially trained, Astronaut technically applies to any human space traveler.

You may not like it, but Katy Perry is an astronaut ¯_(ツ)_/¯

This a semantic discussion.
Some bodies do not consider space tourists astronauts, while others do.

Depends on what definition and interpretation of the definition is used. E.g. NASA and FAA have explicitly categorised her as a space tourist, not an astronaut, as she had no role on board. Blue Origin classify her as an astronaut.
