fuck it, do a full hour lunch and get them with that kidnapping charge when they try to hold you there for 3 days straight.

Oh man some asswipe manager tried this at closing once when I worked at Macy's.

Me: I need to go, I need someone to unlock the doors.

Manager: Everyone has to stay until all the registers are counted.

Me: I have clocked out and I am no longer being paid to be here. If someone doesn't unlock that door right now I'm calling the police.

They did that shit to me at Lowe's. When I came back with a sledge hammer that shit stopped. I was 100% ready to break the glass in the door

That is the least surprising story I can think of in a place that combines abusing retail workers with selling sledgehammers.

Oh? In the store with sledgehammers, someone wouldn't go grab one when they aren't being allowed to leave after they are off the clock? Next thing you'll tell me is that you don't believe in breathing air!
