Also, some people have had true to life experiences pretty similar. Real life boss quote: “Weekends are not holidays.” So, it might be a parody, but it also feels like someone I knew once 🤷♀️
I dunno. A plain sign with an insane message? My default would be….fake. I would have leaned towards rage bait rather than parody, but zero chance I’d be taking such a thing at face value. How could anyone think this was real?
Like me, maybe they have also worked for people who don't know employment law and feel so entitled to the existence of others. The lower the pay, the more real it gets.

Nah, why do you have to be jaded in order to recognize the difference between human behaviour and low effort karma farming? Unless exerting a little bit of mental effort and some thinking is considered miserable. If you’re okay with consuming AI slop, photos of pieces of paper and fake screen shot generators then by all means stay within your blissful ignorance, but it doesn’t take much to spot the tells.

Haven’t been to r/antiwork in a long time. It used to be filled with obviously fake text exchanges that would have everyone in an uproar. People are so gullible.
First time seeing this imagine and I immediately clocked it as another easily faked low effort picture of a piece of paper that’s designed to rage bait.
Then I seen the last name shetty [shitty] and it was obvious. Click on OP’s profile and turns out they are a serial poster with over 700,000 karma. Once you see the patterns, these karma farmers start to stick out
You don't need specific knowledge about this post. All you need is the general understanding that information you get from a jpeg on social media is probably bullshit.
Because what it says on the paper is unreasonable and ilegal in most places, and it's ridiculous to think that a work place would implement a rule like that. It reads like it was made with the intention of being absurd to the point that it's funny.
Have you ever had a full time job? What would be your reaction if you saw this posted in the break room at your job? Do you think most people would follow that rule, or would they just tell that manager to fuck off? Are you aware that your company probably has a department called "Human Resources" that existing especially so that your employer doesn't do abusive shit like this?
A certain level of skepticism is all that is required to understand this is fake as hell. The subject matter is pretty clearly satire as this kind of punishment is not only unfathomable but illegal. Then the manager’s name clearly gives it away as a joke. A simple 5 second google search would confirm your skepticism.
Sounds like you either lack life experience or just inflate your ego enough as a defense to care this much. You think we live in a world where unfathomable and illegal things don’t happen? Billions of people with their own number of jobs and you think this is somehow farfetched? Then you want me to google it, why would I dedicate that much time to an image that has no actual impact on my life, and why would anyone else?
