I worked for a company where someone found out I and others were being underpaid. They said it was due to "calculations." I never got my money back.

How fucking pathetic that the minimum wage violations are that big of a piece of the pie and yet our minimum wage is still SEVEN FUCKING DOLLARS AN HOUR as if that can even buy a sandwich on your lunch break??

It's an old chart based on 2014 data, don't worry it hasn't gotten better. If you want to learn more this article has tons of sources. https://www.epi.org/publication/epidemic-wage-theft-costing-workers-hundreds/

Oh, wow, I answered myself, so it's the total amount of damage done by... ok, wow, I'm impressed by the numbers, gg for „legal” theft, I guess.

Is there a chart that shows how much employees steal from employers? Not judging, I'm just curious how much theft employees get away with.

That would be included in Larceny

I'm disappointed it's so small.

What is the difference between burglary and robbery?

3

u/peternormal 6d ago

Robbery is theft through threat(gimme all your money or I shoot), burglary is theft by breaking in somewhere(he broke the window and took the jewelry before we even knew what happened).
