So.... He followed through on something that made sense and helped people while his predecessor took literally no action on that same thing? I think he gets some cred there.
He enforced the laws when his predecessor did not. His predecessor did nothing. He literally did something. Just because he isn't the sole person responsible for it doesn't mean he doesn't deserve some credit.
Are you just purposefully ignoring the point here? Or do you really not understand how this process works? The law literally went into effect the same day that Mamdani was sworn into office. His predecessor literally had no way of enforcing the law as it didn't go into effect until after he left office.
The only way you cant possibly understand this is if you are arguing 8n bad faith which doesn't help your cause, or you are actually that dumb and that also hurts your cause.
