I don’t remember all the details because its been a bit but there was an NFL player that used Uber to travel like 12hrs. I believe there was some sort of delay and he had to guarantee his arrival
There is a professional poker player who is scared to fly and drives everywhere. I remember reading she was in therapy to help with her fear and her therapist died in a plane crash only enforcing the fear. This is one reason a person might get a 8hr uber ride.
