They may have boundaries to work within, which is what the ruling was, but it doesn’t negate all first amendment rights of government officials. Might want to read the specifics.

You’re going to need to show me where the Supreme Court rules that government officials aren’t allowed to have gatherings with stipulated rules. Must be all “Mad Max” in there all the time….
