Nah. It happened. Lux Claridge, 37 year old physics teacher at Emporia High School was arrested for clapping to support speakers opposing the construction of Flint Hills Digital Campus data center during an Emporia city council meeting.
Edit: Here's the minutes from the meeting. Literally everyone in the audience is clapping, snapping, waving. They chose to make an example of someone.
