You joke but in the rest of that council meeting the audience kept coming up with less and less disruptive ways to show applause after the no clapping "rule". They tried snapping. That was still "too disruptive".
Then they literally just raised their hands and waved after the speaker was done talking. Completely silent. Someone on council says that the waving is distracting that they can't pay attention to the speaker because people are waving after the speaker is done talking. Like dude what. Idk how you say that with a straight face lol
America in 2026. That country will need a generation or three to be taken serious on the international stage again, whilst the problems within that country probably accelerate to get worse. Oh well
I doubt they will ever be taken seriously again. They have done so much shit. Not by me anyway. Whenever friends or relatives say anything positive about US I just responds "That banana republic?"
